It makes sense to insure your classic car through Hagerty Insurance as opposed to adding it to your existing personal auto policy. Agreed Value and Spare Parts Coverage may seem to be the biggest reasons. However, I think having an adjuster that knows the individuality of the vehicle you are insuring may be more important. You pay a lower premium for more coverage that reflects the limited mileage you drive and the care you take of your vehicle.
